Noah Richard Mincheff I cannot stop listening to this EP. I came across Second Still in December, and I find myself craving their music daily. This EP is my favorite of their current discography. Short snd sweet, Equals delivers moody and dramatic banger after banger. The drums hit me in the chest, and Ms. Kwan’s vocals take my breath away. The guitar melodies are always engaging and exciting. If you’re looking for a spiritual successor to the 80s post-punk greats, Second Still are them. Favorite track: Automata.

Christian Schaefer Featured this album on the fortieth issue of RULE of THREE (bit.ly/RULEofTHREEbc). A beautiful old school bass line accompanied by some minimal, yet effective, drums help lay the musical foundations for “Opening” by Second Still. This track owes a lot to Suki's poignant vocals and the excellent songwriting skills of the band. Goth as it sounded back then but moved to a new level. The mesmerising, and at times, haunting guitar adds even more awesomeness to this great track. Favorite track: Opening.
